ACTs (Advent Cambodia Trip)
I happily missed the last week of ELDC to escape to Cambodia with Sherms! haha.
Alright alright, it was a mission trip organised by Church of Queen of Peace.
Slept for an hour and daddy sent me to Changi Airport at 3am-ish?
I relied a lot on Sherman, from the time daddy dropped me at Changi to when we landed in Singapore a week later. hehe. Isn't he just wonderful? :D

This is the school where we were stationed everyday. crap. I forgot the name of the school. Don Bosco, maybe?

Assembly.

Our rooms were so far away from each other. :( but i kept going over to bathe! haha. That's cause, my room had no hot water. And I only had 4 channels when he had 20 over channels with a remote control that works! And my room was wayyyy smaller than his! Sherm's roommate left to sleep in another room so he had the whole room with a refrigerator that makes snow (which he sprinkles at me every morning) to himself.

The first day was pretty messy. I was in the arts and crafts team, with aunties. Sherms saw a horrible pattern. I'm always helping aunties, even in catechism.
that little girl next to me, Sherm & I nicknamed her the
manja cat. you'll see her sticking with us later.

Lunchtime! Sherm helped to scoop the soup for them.

3rd day in Cambodiaaa. In class teaching the kids good manners. I was free so I tagged along.
I forgot how we ended up helping at the grotto. For the first time, I did gardening under the hot sun! While Sherm was moving rocks and other stuff which required more muscles! And someone's looking HOT ;)
Dinner that night was satisfying! :D There were spring rolls, calamari, fried prawns, curry... and coke!
The kids had a performance the next day.
We went to visit some of the kids' villages. As ignorant as I am, I don't know how we ended up doing that but we did. I think it's cause we had to send some kids home and Sister just decided to take us around the villages.
Dusty, huh?
On the second last day there, most of the people went to the other school at Phum Chreh. But some of us stayed behind at Teuk Thla cause we were pretty attached to the kids there. We had to go to Phum Chreh for lunch though, then back to Teuk Thla.
The kids had a weird thing going on with powder. They just run all over the place and smacking a handful of powder on our faces. seriously. so that's handsome after powder war. hehe!
and then I was attacked. goodness.
see manja cat? haha. the kids kept jumping on Sherman and clinging onto him for him to lift them up.
I don't know his name or age or whatever he was talking to me about, i just know he's so small and adorable! hahaha.
The completed grotto. and the pathway leading up to it. Sherm's hard work! *points*
We walked around our hotel area on the last night and we had cakes a cafe and coconut ice cream! ahaha.
and we spent the night playing cards and making fun of some music videos we watched on TV in the sisters' room.
Sherm & I took the earliest flight back to Singapore the next day :) oh what would I do without you...?
X'mas Eve :)
I had a messy start to X'mas eve :( but I won't go there.
I gave mass a miss this evening. heh.
Anyways, the party at home was rather quiet, quieter than usual.
Maybe it's because, no, it is because we are no longer 6, 7 year old kids running around with 30 different coloured blow-pens and papers and playing masak-masak, and our brothers are no longer interested in Power Ranger weapons and Hot Wheels cars.
Anyway (again), dinner was rather yummy, mushroom spaghetti with an overload of onions. heh.
Then little Miss Sarah Long made us play Monopoly. okay, I suck at board games, really. And Ally forgot how Monopoly went. so... We were playing on my bed and reading instructions at the same time!
Ally looks like she's having fun! hahaha.
Godma & Brandon.
okay, i think i'll just end abruptly now.
So as what Brandon always says,
'KAY BYE!
...that's mostly all he ever says.
