15 August- Assumption Mass with Jess darling! :) Accompanied her for dinner and we HTHTed so much about guys. haha. Why ah, Jess? We practically have the same problem :( but if none of them work out, we'll have each other and after all, we're just a bridge away. haha.



And last night just made me realise something, we keep getting stares and weird, 'hello's from strangers who walk past us. It gets pretty creepy with those middle-aged men. Ugh. JESSSSS. hahaha must be you. but I still love hanging out with you!

16 August- I finally caught Brave with Josh today! And it was fucking brilliant. I didn't expect it to be this dark and I feel it's a lil too mature for kids. I thought the focus on the mother and daughter bond was beautiful btw. Such a sucker for Disney movies, I ended up crying at the end and I wasn't the only one sniffling away. You could actually hear pockets of people sniffling away. hahah.


The last time I was this excited for a movie was in 2010, when Toy Story 3 came out. (Didn't watch Tangled, remember?) I know I'll sound bias but wtf, how is Brave not better than a panda fighting and a green ogre roaming the forest?! I don't see the magic of both their stories and their slapstick humour. And seriously, you name your praying mantis, Mantis? Your tigress, Tigress? How creative. Har har.


Omg, I realise I sound terribly bias when I'm talking about Disney but I seriously can't help it. They have Grammy Award winning songs (Thank god for Alan Menken), they bother to freaking animate every single strand of HAIR (Recall Rapunzel & Merida?), create their own colours (like the colour of Ariel's tail), actually hold auditions to get the right voices for their characters (instead of just picking Angelina Jolie, Will Smith 'cause they're A-listers. DisneyCharacterVoices FTW), freaking study the movements of lions & deers (yes, Lion King & Bambi), they tell you stories about cultures, traditions and family values (Mulan, Pocahontas, Lilo & Stitch, tyvm.) and they always tug your heartstrings and most importantly, they are MEMORABLE. Snow White's been around on pencil cases, towels, cups, bedsheets, dolls etc for 75 years already. Where do you stand now, Dreamworks? Oh and if it weren't for one of your founder's resignation in Walt Disney Co., you probably didn't stand a chance at becoming what you are today.


I better stop. Or else someone will track me down and kill me for being this bias against Dreamworks. I don't even know why myself, it's not as if I've never watch Dreamworks' animation but each time I did, I fell asleep (KFP2 & Despicable Me). Hey, I tried. *shrugs* I don't mean to offend anyone about this but yeah, I honestly find it hard to be objective when it comes to Disney vs Dreamworks :)

There's nothing more disappointing and painful when you find out truths about certain someones, from someone else. And I'm not exactly worried about how credible the truths are 'cause the sources, they're reliable enough.



I should've just left it as it was from the start. It couldn't have been anything even though we get along just fine; it's just that I've never really connected with him emotionally. We're hardly even on the same page. I can't talk to him about John Mayer, I don't know why a guitar has 4 strings instead of the usual 6, what's the deal about an Aston Martin. And he definitely can't talk to me about how amazing Lady Antebellum & Miranda Lambert are, why Disney renamed 'Rapunzel' to 'Tangled' or understand how much I'm dying to watch Brave.


Funny how almost exactly two years ago, I had the same setback and nothing much have changed since then.


Yeah, I'm sad. As much as I said I'll be okay with it, there's always that first few hours of feeling crappy and just wanting to down any form alcohol. I just came back from Jason's 21st party and thank God, I didn't say anything I'll regret. If only he was less sweeter. But he had to tell me to make sure Edmund sends me home and told Jason not to leave me alone 'cause he was the only one I knew at the chalet. ugh. Okay, it wasn't anything spectacular but I can't help it alright.



Secondly, this one's a tougher one. It's the second time he's coming back. And it's the second time I'm accepting it. What's it that he's feeling? Is he here to stay? Does he even want to? I thought it was suppose to be clearer each time it ends but this just gets blurer and blurer and I'm pretty much unable to discern what I'm doing now. But y'know what, I've got time and I'll see how things go when he gets back.

Sigh. I realised I just went to school for a day this week 'cause of the training I had in MBS and well, I had no lectures on Thursday and Friday. I don't like missing school. I genuinely missed school during the two days that I was at MBS.



Training at MBS was alright, pretty dreadful at the start but I tried my best to be a social butterfly and mingled around aaand, I'm glad to say we've already formed a clique of eight people. I never knew MBS had a civilisation underground! Hahaha like what the hell, it was a freaking maze down below with a freaking awesome canteen and pretty good food, a huge huge huuuuge wardrobe which kinda reminds me of the doors storage thingy in Monsters Inc.

25 July- Jam and I made a spontaneous decision to club tonight! Telepathy maybe? Haha. Our texting went something like that,
Me: I FEEL LIKE CLUBBING TODAY. ahahaha. What are you up to?
Jam: Ahahaha I was just about to ask you, haha, want to club? :P
Me: Are you serious? Like serious? Hahaha.
Jam: Serious. Somewhat. Haha. Are you? :P
Me: Okay! Serious!



Our convo looks a bit retarded with too many 'haha's and the repetition of 'serious'. HAHAHA. right.



So after training, Gen picked me up at Novena so that we could head over to Jam's place to collect our stuff she got from Boston. Thanks for the lift, Genny. Haha.



Dinner at Macs at Robin Road. And we made a couple of prank calls again! haha I can't believe Pablo would tolerate Jamie's nonsense for 8 minutes! Hahah we were laughing so bad that at one point I couldn't chew my food at all. Hahahah. Epic prank calls are epic.



Gen dropped both of us home and I met Jam again to club! Wheeee. We hopped from Attica to Arena and decided to drop by Rebel and Zirca. Haven't been there since last September. hahah. Anyway, we remained in Attica for the rest of the night and seriously, Attica's still my favourite. hahaha.



We left around 3ish. Gosh, I was actually tired. But it was a great night. IF ONLY GEN COULD MAKE IT THE NEXT TIME. Hahaha. Yes, I'm talking to you, Gen. hahaha.

26 July- I can't believe that I got up at 10.30am despite sleeping at 4. Was about to sleep again when Josh texted asking if I wanted to lunch. Might as well! Since I haven't been having regular lunches. Met him at KSL, listened to all his stories again. I actually like listening to them :) Anyways, as usual, I ended up eating and he just play Bejeweled on my phone non-stop. Can you just eat next time and not make it seem like I'm the greedy one?



Headed home and slept til it was time to meet Zul in J8. Had Pepper Lunch for dinner. Haha okay it sounds funny. Pepper LUNCH for DINNER. hahaah idk why I find it funny. hahaha. okayyyyy. After dinner, we had this crazy idea of gatecrashing Hsin's birthday dinner at Fika! HAHAHA. Made a couple of calls to Rachel and we just went ahead with crashing it. Totally worth it.



Hsin was having her 21st birthday dinner with her poly classmates. And they were done by the time we reached there. haha so anyways, we decided to shisha somewhere and Tilly joined us much later. Omg we crapped and laughed so much. Who knew we'll be close like this when we first entered uni huh.


Car ride home was awesome as usual. Did I mention how much I love car rides with friends? hahah.



Slacked at Ryan's house with Josh after and played with Petra again. OMG SHE IS FREAKING MANJA LA. I cannot take it. haha. I want a caaaat.

27 July- Accompanied Josh for medical at NSC. and he did some UV ray treatment thingy, Idk what it was exactly but it was interesting to watch. Hahaha and he totally had a conversation with himself for like 2 minutes... ...okay fine he was actually telling me what the nurse will ask him and what he'll say and what the machine will say when he's about to start the treatment. HAHAHA.



Headed to town for Dark Knight Rises again. Kinda miss hanging out with him.



Anyway, we parted ways after the movie. He went to meet his friends in Lorong Chuan and I went to meet Jason & Keith in Upper Thomson. Over dinner at Old School Delights, we concluded that we're actually really boring people. Jason was saying we need to have a common hobby like bowling or something cause every single time we just go to Upper Thomson for dinner and ice cream. AND right then, we made a second conclusion that our common hobby was dinner and ice cream. hahaha. We are so lame, I swear.



Anyways, I didn't exactly eat a proper meal cause I wasn't hungry. How's it humanly possible, I didn't have anything to eat the whole day and I wasn't hungry -.- Keith got ice cream at Salted and we headed to that super cool playground at Shunfu to hang. I never expected Keith to actually like that playground but he did. Hahaha like I said, the swings were awesome and so was the flying fox.



Jason tortured me for a while when I was on the swinging dish. Ass. Swang so much that I felt nauseous. I had plans to go to Filter but I didn't in the end cause I figured hanging at the playground was way more fun and I was pretty lazy to travel down. haha.

28 July- Missed cat class again! Shit man, missed it two weeks in a row and I think I'm gonna have to miss this week's one again 'cause of Jason's 21st. HOW HOW HOW.



I started work at MBS today! Had the privilege to watch Annie but it was so boring I left and hung out at the cloakroom instead. How I wished it was a Disney musical going on. Although I did hear from someone that the next musical may be Mary Poppins. Say whuuuut. Keeping my fingers crossed! :)



I was looking forward to my after work plans! Met Josh at Dakota and we headed to Kmah's place to hang. Last time I went there was on Boxing Day. haha been really long. Hung out in Kmah's room before heading upstairs for drinks. We started pretty slowly, and I thought, "Yeah, I'm liking this. I'm so going home sober later." but I was dead wrong. DEAD WRONG. I got very, very, very, intoxicated and I didn't go home. Hahaha.




We diiiid start slow, until Bra took out the white wine and I liked it and someone else took out red wine aaand I liked it even more so much that I finished 3/4 of the red wine. :O Why didn't you stop me, clanksssss!




BG and Sam came over and started cooking instant noodles. BG cooked 3 packets at a go and he passed it around, everyone started sharing from that small metal pot and using the same, erm forkaspoonaknife, was that what they called it? haha. Okay, it's really all three combined into one awesome utensil. Hahah. Anyway, BG didn't expect all of us to eat so much, he let out a pitiful, "Can, can leave some noodles for me?" HAHAHA. And the whole pot immediately became his.




So, moving on, it got a little chaotic after a while when more people came. Kmah and Bra went to get a very drunk Rachel from downstairs, people started playing wine/beer pong, then Kmah wanted the most sober person to get Kevin and he summoned me from across the room with a "SIS! YOU GO!".




And things started to get blurry after this. We went outside cause they wanted to smoke, I kept drinking the red wine, took sips of beer and idk what Kevin mixed and listening to the whole lot talking to Kmah about Rachel. I don't know. I felt that they were better as BFFs than a couple and he didn't deserve to treated the way he is. And I don't even know how I started feeling a little emotional. Idk if anyone noticed, but I was tearing up listening to Kmah talking about Rachel and I started thinking about stuff.



Went in, took the bottle of white wine and started drinking straight from it aaand the last thing I remembered was sharing a chair with Josh and him leading me to Kenny's sofa inside.



AND THEN I WAS GONE. Until the next morning at 11.30AM and in between, I also remember scrambling to the sink and back to the sofa. Worst hangover ever. Left with Josh around 4, headed home and slept all the way. Hahaha.



I shall not consume any alcohol until Jason's birthday party this Saturday. (Y) I can do this. hahaha.

30 July- Spent almost the whole day with Josh, caught Abraham Lincoln, got a piercing on my cartilage at night and accompanied him to meet his best friend, Shawn, for drinks. I DIDN'T DRINK!
Kinda like my day.

Finally went to school today! :) and I was 20 minutes early for class. I'm always either just on time or 15 minutes late. After school, was a simple lunch with Tilly & Allie in Holland V :)



Met Josh again! Rented two movies and spent the afternoon watching them at his place :) Our movie choices were a bit extreme, haha. Both total opposites. The Devil Inside and Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton's version). Am never gonna watch the former again, it's too disturbing. It's all thanks to my photographic memory. *shudders*



I'm extremely sleepy now. Will probably head to bed soon :)
