Paper planes, leme photos and messing around are those moments whennnn... YOU'RE NOT STUDYING WHEN YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO.
Been studying in NYP's library for the past couple of weeks. Okay, I don't have evidences of us studying but who really takes photos of the boring parts of our lives (eg. studying) Even the closest photo of us studying has a flaw in it- You can see Hsin Rui on FB. HAHAHA.
It was super nostalgic going back there. I had pretty awesome memories and some pretty bad moments there. I loved how I was in school with the Hotshots, slacking away in ELDC and messing around in CRMCC. Haha I even remembered how Keith once said he always sees Bel & I 'prancing and skipping' around school.
See, school could have been more fun than that but not when I had almost endless worries about what I should wear, the time I took to reply, how long I took to walk from NYP to the MRT station, skipping unimportant classes just to be with him when I felt like I really wanted to be in school, where exactly I was when I told him I was and who I was with and what was I doing.
2, 3 years on, looking back, it was really darn silly to be giving up the best years of my life to one person and having my life revolving around his. I used to believe it was entirely because of me for the negatives in our relationship. I don't know, I don't blame him much anymore. Said I never will, but never say never. I hated him for a while and had flashbacks very recently and something just triggered a 5 minute hate. haha. Hate is the result of wounded love, isn't it. I couldn't care less for what he's doing right now. I really don't. We're just friends/aquaintances whatever. I have way better friends in my life now and I don't need him anymore.
That led me to an impulse text message to him telling him that he can throw my Torey Hayden book and my silver hairband away 'cause I don't want them anymore. He tried to meet me twice to return them but the first one had us talking and the other just... failed. So what's the point. Sigh. The book won't help me in any way (though it's my favourite book) and I don't even use a hairband. He replied saying I was supposed to let him know when I was free. With him, I'm always 'supposed' to be doing this, 'supposed' to be doing that. I don't even know what to say. You can throw them away, if you happen to be here, I know you still know my url. I don't need them, really. Thanks.
So, I don't even know what spurred me to blog tonight considering I've a paper in 14 hours.
Well, I shall just look forward to Friday! FRIDAYYYY. Fuckin' last paper and I'm off til July! YAY!

Alright, I'm pretty angsty right now. (Blogger just deleted an almost completed blog post.) Actually, I've been on the edge for the past couple of days and I don't know why. Yesterday just made it worse.
I don't usually believe in Friday the 13th and its superstitions but yesterday miiight just bring about a change. Okay, maybe, I don't know. It could be pure coincidental. What are the odds, really.
I made a beautiful crack diagonally across my iPhone screen and vvv bad cracks at the bottom right hand which looks like crystalized sugar. I AM REALLY UPSET. All this happened in less than 3 seconds and there was absolutely no way I could have saved it. I completely forgot I had my iPhone in between my lap when I got out of Tilly's car and I swiped in right on to the road! Damn it.
I can't believe I'm able to lose my composure over a cracked screen. I know it's just a cracked screen. It sounds a wee bit materialistic and shallow but I'm really not like that, it's just that, it's expensive and I could've prevented it, y'know. Like remember it was in between my lap or something! I can't bear staring at my screen now :( Tiny bits of glass are falling out as well.
I rushed home to make calls to M1 & Apple about it cause I can't use a phone with bits of glass falling out. I had to do backups and all I could think of was to save the stuff I know that couldn't be saved, like my text messages and notes. I was so affected that I cancelled dinner with Aloy, skipped YC and spent 4 hours on the computer trying to find softwares that could help me save my messages. Idk why but there's just something about my texts to people that I can't bear to let go. It's not as if I read them often, I do read them, once in a while. It's just something about them that I hold on so dear to; I hate being so overly sentimental. Sigh.
Mummy & daddy were pretty understanding, left me alone to do my stuff and at the same time, kept telling me they'll pay for the repair, but I'm not letting them do it :) Made it up to the churchies for missing YC by going for dinner/supper with them at Upper Thomson.
Anyway, I think I've come to terms with it. (Goodness, I sound really melodramatic here. BUT I AM SAD OKAY, I REPEAT :( so forgive this once.) I'm gonna get it repaired asap and yeahhh. I will get it done, regardless!
ANYWAY, cat class was alright just now. Wasn't the best lesson but Edward & I pulled through with scripture sharing, Lectio Divina & meditation. Macs after & slacked in St Frans with Ed, Lionel & David. Played Jenga & tried hulahooping like an idiot. hahaha.
Met up with Jason & Edmund again at Vivo :) We were supposed to be accompanying Jason to find a gift for his goddaughter in ToysRUs but they ended up at the Disney Princess aisle with me looking at DIY Disney charm bracelets! HAHAHA.
Had dinner at Marche where Hui Min joined us. I swear, Jason & Edmund cannot stop picking on me esp Ed. such an asswipe. They are the only two who're capable of making me swear at them. hahaha. Dinner was awesome btw. Almost died laughing when Jason pronouced 'crepe' as 'crap' and it was one of the rare moments when Ed & Hui Min couldn't stop making fun of him. hahaha.
The night ended around 11ish for us and mummy & daddy picked me up at Lorong Chuan :)
It's Sunday tomorrow, and I don't know why, but I'm excited to meet J. Battleship & lunch tomorrow :) yay!
P.S. Time to whine at Ally sometime this week. HEHE. She called me all the way from Gold Coast just to hear me whine. hahah. <3 youuuu.
Bryan also made an overseas call to me and it was bloody wonderful speaking to him for almost an hour about everything. (Y) for those distinctions :)
And I hope that asshole will be caught soon, Jamie. Bloody creep. ...STUDENT PLANNNN. I feel so disconnected from you. hahaha. <3 you toooo.

Holy Week's over in the blink of an eye and soon, my dreaded exams are gonna be here.
My week was pretty much a self-proclaimed 'slack week' before next week when I'm gonna travel to NYP & SIM libraries to study with my uni mates.
So, Monday was my last day of school and the thunderstorm in the morning was honestly one of the worst storms I've ever experienced. I usually sleep through storms but this, this, was terrifying. Was woken up by Dwayne shutting our room windows and him walking 'round the house, probably making sure my dad's photo frames weren't gonna be blown down by the wind.
My gosh, I couldn't even stick my head out of the window, and I was shivering so badly. haha. I went over to check on my granny and almost everything near the window was wet! And I wondered how she slept through the whole thing!
The worst part was when water started seeping in from my main

It was so tempting to splash around outside, but snuggling in bed with my Disney cushions and stuffy toys sounded way better :) Anyway, as I was trying to fall back to bed, I saw tweets from Zul & Joey about getting drenched even before they got to school and it was like, 7AM? I started getting suspicious that I might have an 8.30AM lesson that wasn't in my timetable. So I texted Tilly & Allie, but I fell asleep even before they could reply. AND I MISSED AN 8.30 CLASS! HAHAHA.
NYDC-ed in Holland V after school and gymmed with Brendan in the afternoon and went to Upper Thomson with Joanne at night so yeahhh, a Monday well spent. ('cept for missing the 8.30 lecture!)
Tuesday, was FREE CONE DAY ! :D
My very first time going for B&J's free cone. It was an epic turn of events, when what was supposed to be a small group of churchies having a fish & chips for lunch & ice cream after turned into a big and unusual group of churchies and travelling all around town in search for the shortest B&J queue.
Lunch was at Manhattan Fish Market with Aloysius, Brendan, Willy, Mitch, Lucas, Marc, Moses, Edward, Rayne, Lionel & I.
After lunch, we decided to head to The Cathay for ice cream.The queue was freaking insane, I swear; it was almost as long as queues in USS/Disneyland.
We decided to leave after queuing for 15 minutes and try our luck at Great World. A few of them wanted to play games at *Scape but some of us wanted ice cream! So we split from there and went our own ways.
GWC's B&J's queue was delightfully short! :D
I should've taken photos :( oh well.
Anyways, Ethelbert bumped into us and joined us for his 2nd round.
We started queuing again immediately after getting our first cone. hahaha. omg.
I know it really does sound v cheapo and typically Singaporean queuing up for freebies but hey, it was the time spent with them that mattered the most.
I'm happy my first Free Cone Day experience was with the important churchies :)
Headed to Mink on Wednesday night with Josh, Axel & Jo, but the afternoon was spent at his place watching Grave Encounters. Stupid, scary movie. I think I'm still paranoid. I can't imagine watching it at night and as I'm typing this, I'm afraid to even turn around. HAHAHA.
Maundy Thursday was a pretty lazy afternoon but I went for mass at 6PM with Jess. My family was seated somewhere else 'cause we were a tiny bit late. After mass was church visitation with YC and I really couldn't survive on hot cross buns so I bought macs for Dwayne, Brendan & I.
St Peter's & Paul's church was the first stop, followed by the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd and lastly, St Joseph (Bukit Timah). We did Stations in St Jo and said the Rosary in the bus. It was a pretty well-spent Thursday with YC :)
Jeremy, Dwayne & I went to Bryan's place after visitations to hang around with Brendan.
Sent this on purpose to Bryan. haha. Miss you, my dear! I didn't bounce on your bed though I did lie on it! haha.
I slept til 2ish on Good Friday. HEHE. My parents were asleep til 3PM. I had to wake them up. hahaha. Went for Stations and mass at 5 and I almost died of gastric attack during mass :( I went out to down a can of Coke (IT HELPS OKAYYY) before getting back just on time for Communion. haha.
Met Josh & friends in town after mass and we headed to Zouk at 7.55PM.
Apparently, Afrojack was the guest DJ that night but I totally have no idea who he is!
Anyways, the night was pretty blurry to me after 1ish.
Drinking on an empty stomach was seriously a bad idea.
I couldn't believe the decision I made to enter the club for a ridiculous price. PFFT.
So, I was standing outside Zouk, when someone came over with an, "Ariel?".
OH.MY.GOD. NATE! I haven't seen him in ages. Who knew he intro-ed me as his 'best friend' to his friend standing next to him. Was I really, now?
Strange things tend to happen when you're under the influence of alcohol. But for some reason, I believed that. He was, probably still is, one of my best friends from poly.
Pretty concerned as ever, he questioned me about Josh and my answer is gonna be a forever, "I don't know. I really don't know."
Anyway, it was better we left before shit happened. I was totally expecting something bad to happen.
Saturday was another lazy afternoon :) Accompanied my parents for breakfast, got home and slept.
Easter Vigil with the family at night. I love how everybody knows everybody in church.
Perry, Charm & gang were in front of us and Gerald & Xavier were behind us. haha.
Mass was really v long and I was super hungry by the time mass ended.
Dinner was at Macs with my family.
Something really touched me when we saw the whole lot of Altar servers walking past Macs and we waved at some of them but Aloysius & Eugene turned back and came into Macs just to wish us 'happy Easter' and hugged us. I really didn't expect that :) well, YOU TWO made my night.
And finally, today's Easter Sunday :) Met Josh again at J8 for The Hunger Games and lunch. Okay, I had lunch. He just sat there playing Bejeweled NON-STOP. I don't think we can break our highscore anytime, m'friend. hahaha.
He had to go home and get ready to book in, so I called Jeremy and discovered that they just finished watching a movie in J8 too. haha.
I joined them at Yoshinoya and Cheryl was telling me all about her love situation.
Sigh, if only I could help her in some way. But I guess just listening to her was enough for now. haha.
Anyways, Aloysius, Jeremy, Perry, Seb & I headed to Scoopz at Upper Thomson for dessert. haha damn the ice cream there was pretty terrible. haha. But we ended up playing '99' while waiting for Jon Saw to come and bring us to another ice cream cafe which sells, erm, vegetarian ice cream. I'd like to think it's organic ice cream. hahaha.
Aloy & Jeremy accompanied me at Meng's for dinner. OMG, I need a membership/loyalty card for that place. haha so does Joanne. Jon came at 10PM and brought us to Brownice where we had a second round of ice cream. yup, go for dark choc there guys. French choc had a weird watery aftertaste.
We play many rounds of '99' and we left around 11ish :)
Alright, so that concludes my weekend :) How often do I type this much. hahaha:O With that said, it's time to start filling my blog with more pictures/photos huh. haha. Time to whip out the camera soon :)
