Christmas 2012
Christmas... It came and left just like that. Okay, so it's twelve days but Christmas Eve and Christmas itself didn't last as long as I wish it did. But even then, I'm cherishing every minute of what's left of Christmas. The carols in mass, the tree & decos at home, the lightings in shopping centres. And even in NTUC. Yes, I kid you not. I'm not going to the 'old NTUC' (the other NTUC outside J8. as what many Bishan peeps refer that as.) just because I see CNY decos up already. Not until I feel like it's time to celebrate CNY. Which will probably be just a few days before the actual days. And I call myself a Chinese. ohman. but I still go to Chinatown on the Eve. hahaha :D that counts!
So Christmas was a lot more quieter this year than compared to last year's. I love Christmas, the best season to me ever, but I didn't feel the Christmas spirit this year. I suppose it was largely due to the fact that YC wasn't doing the church decorations this year and they didn't join CYF for caroling. All that can already take up 3/4 of December. So what happened the year before, when I didn't go for all these either and yet still managed to feel it? I guess I roughly know why- it's just that Christmas is the same every year 'cept for last. It's Christmas Eve mass, a small celebration at home, sleep, wake up, and then Makko's house the whole day. But the best part of this year's Christmas is celebrating it with my lazy worm on both days. It truly is.
Christmas Eve
My family & I started the day with lunch at New York New York! in AMK Hub before all of us went our separate ways to do last minute Christmas shopping and grocery shopping. Daddy went all the way to HV to get something for Grandma, Dwayne hit town, mum & I grocery shopped. It was all rush rush rush. With last minute shopping comes last minute gift wrapping. Came home, wrapped a few gifts and got ready for dinner at Josh's place :) I decided to wear my longest pair of earrings too! (at 25cm! say whuuut?) hahaha.
Dinner was prepared by Josh & his sis. But mainly him! hahaha. Got there at 6ish and watched the sibs cook in the kitchen. Beef stew, pasta, mushroom soup, and his experimental prawn bisque! :) I loved the beef stew the most. After dinner, I couldn't stop laughing at him. Idk why I laugh at half the things he says. haha. Seriously omg. why baby whyyyyy. Btw, Josh looked pretty damn good in his blazer :D
Mass was at RC. No midnight mass this year, Idk why. But I suppose 11PM for mass wasn't that bad. Haha random, but I made a face at Gen after communion. hahaha. and she did the same! So typical, that girl.
What came after mass was chaotic. CHAOTIC. hahaha I was running all over the place looking for mum, looking for this person, that person... And while you're looking for someone, someone else screams, "MERRY CHRISTMAS!" in your face and exchanges a hug with you! Hahaha. And all the time, I was praying that I won't fall in my black wedges. I can be such a klutz sometimes.
Once my presents were given out, rushed over to Josh, who was waiting for me so patiently at the side with my clutch and left for Winebar! :) Thanks, love. We didn't stay long there, I didn't even drink but that's fine by me. hahah. And can you believe, the whole time, I forgot I had my camera with me :( and even then, my only photo with Josh that night was blur. -.- that's for not experimenting with the new cam. It's alright, I'll get more soon. wahahaha.

Christmas
Same-o same-o Christmas Day. I gotta start digging out old Christmas photos to see how we've grown man. Anyways, Uncle Gerald came with a hangover! HAHAHA. That was damn funny. He was totally stoning on the couch. But that's a cool uncle I've got there. Lunch was a spread of Italian and Peranakan food. Yup. A queer combination but it worked out fine. hahaha. Kueh Pie Tee with Pastaaa. Sounds weird but it sure tastes good. Hahaha or maybe we're just weird. hahaha.
These people are the reason why family gatherings are fun.
And then these two started spamming my camera -.-
Note to self: Never leave camera unattended.
Boxing Day
Christmas lunch was at Nic's place. More Western food. YUM. All cooked by Nic herself. Kudos!
I swear, we're such pigs. After lunch, we just lied on Nic's bed for like 2 hours. Lied there and talked. That's it. hahaha.

So that sums up my Christmas weekend :) It had gone way better than I expected. It's the last day of 2012 and obviously, my last post. hahaha. Gonna head to bed now before meeting Josh in the morning for his MA and brunch. And then dinner at night with my loved ones.

I wanted to do a post with photos but my internet connection at home sucks big time so I'm just gonna leave that til next time. daaamn.
Today was a pretty alright day. Mummy booked facial appointments for the both of us and shopped for a little while in 313 aaand that's about it. I was kinda distracted the whole night actually. I don't know. I don't want to care but you're very close to me and I'm telling you, I've been struggling since the last time you came back. But Jam has a point, and I think it's fair. So I'll wait, and I'll see how things turn out, how we'll turn out and how we'll never look back on things like this. Yups. We're tied by blood and just so you know, you mean a hell lot to me.
...So anyways, I guess I'm gonna change my url soon because I'm not very comfortable with my link being on FB for the past couple of weeks. It's still a personal blog with a small number of friends reading my nonsense. (shall put the links back up but archive can wait a while more) Yeah so why on earth did I blog here about the Fox-Out shoot? I'm not IT savvy, I don't know how to use tumblr or wordpress (I took an hour to navigate them and my photos couldn't load.) so I gave up and stuck to blogger. hahaha.
