Tomorrow's memories
I thought I could do just one post a week but clearly I can't keep it up after four months. I didn't even touch my laptop for five days last week!
Anyway on a really, reaaallyyyy random note, BRYAN JUST CALLED ME AND SAID HE WAS OTW TO THE AIRPORT CAUSE APPARENTLY HE GOT HIS FLIGHT DATE WRONGGG! AND WE WERE ALL SUPPOSED TO HAVE DINNER TOGETHER TOMORROW NIGHT AT THE COFFEESHOP OPPOSITE CHURCH AND WE HAD THE MENU PLANNED OUT ALREADYYY. BUT WE CAN'T NOW :(
SIGH. This good friend of mine ah. At least I saw him a few hours ago in his windbreaker (He was nursing a fever, haha.) with Aloy & Lau :) although we spent half the time talking to his mum and sissy. Idk why but I'm sad he's leaving again. November, it shall be. See you then :) Go get 'em distinctions again!
OKAY, I'm done with my emotional outburst. hahaha. I'm terribly tired right now. Everyone at home's having some sort of a flu symptom, 'cept me. Go me.
6 July- Had a lovely outing with Nic to Chinatown, People's Park and Ann Siang Hill! I'm really really thankful for that night when we got lost at Changi 'cause it brought us closer again, both of us admitted it!
We met at Braddell and she gave me two walnut cupcakes that she and Ally baked the day before! It was good man (Y) I need to start baking again, Idk, I don't find it therapeutic eversince the 300 cupcakes Jam & I baked for Jo's fundraiser last September. Oh the horror of smelling like eggs!
We had a late lunch at McDonald's and we headed straight to Oakham Market after. Nic couldn't resist a nautical vintage top that went for $39.90. It was love at first sight cause she decided on that almost immediately. haha while I was going around the shop, 4, 5, 6, 7 times. I told myself I was only gonna get one piece of clothing with the tight budget I had. But seriously, I couldn't decide between the orange chiffon top and pink ankle-length skirt with a slit on the left. It has a slit! HAHA. How chic. I asked Nic which I should get and she was like, "Get both!" and I caved. Sigh.
Headed to People's Park to search for a nail polish parlour cause Nic wanted her nails done with the polish she bought from one of OPI's Spiderman collection. After which, Nic went to meet her mum at CSC and I went to Somerset to meet Gen.
While obediently waiting for Gen outside A&F, Keith texted Edmund & I to see whether we were up for dinner in an hour with him & Jason at Upper Thomson. Called Gen immediately and hurried her to A&F before I told her about dinner and she was like, "LET'S GO." Hahaha shit I don't know why I more nervous than before. Maybe it was 'cause Gen was going. See la, Gen. Your fault. But I think I maintained pretty well.
So we trained to Marymount and met Keith first at 7-Eleven, then crossed over to Old School Delights. Jason, as usual, freaking late for more than hour! So we had dinner first. Omg, made the mistake of ordering the chicken macaroni, cause it kinda sucked but then again, I wasn't hungry. haha.
Dinner was very delightful honestly. Haha Keith was telling us about the Gospel passage where Jesus whipped the moneychangers for selling stuff at the temple, I can't remember what led to that but anyway, we were laughing so effing hard that I couldn't talk. And I thought it was a joke until he said that it's from the Bible and I couldn't believe it. hahaha. So he Googled it to prove to us that it's from the Bible- John 2:15. seriously man. haha.
We headed over to Udders after Jason came and I bought cookies and cream from Salted instead!
Keith left and three of us went to Yishun to get something before hanging at a super cool playground at Shunfu. Damn fun. Didn't take photos cause it was too dark and it wouldn't do justice to the place. BTW, it has a freaking flying fox! And Miss Gen took like more than 5 minutes to take off! HAHAHAHA. Cause she was afraid of falling or like getting stuck. HAHAHA. damn funny.
Left at 1AM, walked to a red car, tried to open the door and then heard Jason from the opposite side, "Fuck, this isn't my car." HAHAHAHA. Wts. ...Thanks Gen, for accompanying me for dinner and supper with them. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself too :) Love you.
Shit, so much for not typing much -.-
9 July- First day of the sem! :) and first time getting into a mini accident in Tilly's car! Haha he hit a double decker bus at Dover and it left a dent on the left but somehow, it dented back out when we reached Bishan. So it was almost good as new, with scratches.
Met Bryan in church and we had a vvvvv long walk to Novena Square. Stupid Rubi shoes don't give enough support 'cause my feet hurt. haha. Eh their quality is questionable okay. Anyway, we went to Montero's Pub to drink a little and he played pool. He told me he felt better after that, and I'm glad he did. I don't always understand what's troubling him, and sometimes ask the wrong questions, but he's always grateful for my company that I get uncomfortable with him thanking me more than three times in 1 hour. And I'm happy I got to spend time with him.
12 July- HAPPY 24TH BIRTHDAY, ZUL! :D
Marketing kids had lecture today and all of us met at Cuscaden in CHIJMES for drinks and finger food at night! Hsin Rui, Joey & I headed there in KC's car and we were spraying like three different types of fragrances in the car- Ralph Lauren, Victoria's Secret & Kenzo!
It was all fun and laughter (KC made me laugh non-stop for a good 3 minutes. I almost died from the lack of air.) until... We got into another accident! And this time was worse than the one on Monday. What freaked Hsin & I was that in both accidents, we were in the car and two accidents in 4 days is a little crazy. KC said the accidents were a 'prelude to Friday the 13th'. -.- OMG. Trust him to say such things! haha.
But anyways, the BMW behind KC's Chevrolet hit us twice and it was scary how we jerked so hard and everything just fell. Turned around, and we saw another car behing the BMW. Nice. Peak hour, and an accident just had to happen. Anyways, the Chevrolet was COMPLETELY FINE WITHOUT A SCRATCH. We don't even know how that happened but KC's faith in his Chev has increased a great amount. hahaha.
So, thank God we got there safely. There was a guardian angel somewhere :)
And the rest of the night turned out exactly like how I thought it would :) was awesome that everyone could make it.
Sigh, these two. One in checks and the other in stripes and in similar shades of blue.

13 July- No school for me today! Slacked at home til it was time for YC. I was super reluctant to go for YC with the recent events that annoyed me. People in church, esp the older ones are too judgemental. That's why I was late with Jeremy. Sat at the bus stop contemplating if I should go for like 20 minutes -.- Decided to go in the end but I left during a sharing session.
The usual clique went to Montero's Pub for drinks and pool after session :)
This was really retarded. But it was there and they couldn't help it. Poker cards are too mainstream huh.
I HTHTed with Xav. Told him so many things, I can't believe how comfortable it is talking to him. hahaha. I didn't think Bryan'd approve of what I had to say, haha but he asked me to tell Xav about certain stuff. Great night out with the gang :)
14 July- Went to Heli with Gen, Ally & Gwyneth! :D Was looking forward to this night. Bryan, Brendan, Aloy and Jeremy came to meet us in CQ for some drinks :) They were thissss close to clubbing with us but Bry didn't bring his IC. haha. Sat by the river, drank, talked and laughed. Bryan thinks Ally and I are way too similar. Even the way we answer questions. haha are we really?? Cousins ;)
Anyways, I'm not going to Heli anytime soon, hahah. The music was just so-so :( oh well. but we met a Kong Hee lookalike and that poor guy is gonna get a prank call from us soon. HAHAHAHA. This is what you get when you give us your numbers in clubs.
Will update about the gathering at Bryan's place as soon as I get the photos from Edward :) and mummy's damn awesome Italian cooking.

Back to drinks last week again! And tons of outings.
28 June- Had dinner with Bryan, Jeremy & Justin opposite church. We were supposed to have it in Novena but ended up in TP. It became sorta like a feast, 'cause Jeremy ordered so much food! goodness -.- Bry, Justin & I headed over to Wavehouse at the Entertainment Centre after dinner for some drinks. Bry took a sudden interest in wine, idk why, and Justin taught Bryan all he wanted to know.
I got myself a lychee martini and faced two dudes swirling and sipping their wine. I found it a little amusing for some reason. Hahaha. Okay perhaps I caught them at a bad time. haha!
Was wasting time online as usual when I saw Gilbert's post on FB a few hours later about how it wasn't nice going to church smelling of alcohol blah blah blah. I'm pretty damn sure it was directed at us, intentionally or unintentionally, I don't care. Well, screw you. I think it's absolutely nothing wrong going to church smelling of alcohol. We weren't even high, and even then, you don't need alcohol to get you high. Look at the other kids in church who're high and crazy, if not worse, without alcohol. Continue judging, and we'll just continue drinking.
29 June- Spent the afternoon, strolling around Orchard with Bryan, Brendan and Jeremy. For guitars and whatnot. I go to Swee Lee more often than I see my dentist -.- AND I don't even play the guitar.
At night was an awesome Uncle & Nieces date. Uncle Gerald brought Ally & I for dinner at Sakae Sushi after which was Amazing Spiderman in 3D! We had a confusing conversation minutes before the movie.
Me: Who's Gwen?
Uncle Gerald: Gwen is Peter Parker's first love.
Me: Then who's Gwen in Spiderman 3?
Ally: There's also a Gwen in Spiderman 3 but a different Gwen.
Me: Then who's Stacy? I thought there was a Stacy?
Uncle Gerald: Stacy is probably the real name of the actress.
Ally: But the actress is Emma Stone what.
Me: Yeahh. Okay there's a Gwen and a Stacy somewhere.
-pause-
Looked at each other for a good 10 seconds or so and we decided to leave it til the movie!
So during the movie, where I had to endure the discomfort of the 3D glasses on top of my own glasses, the first time when Emma was introduced on screen... ...
Emma: I'm Gwen, Gwen Stacy (if I remember correctly how this went in the movie)
and I just exclaimed "OHH!" to Ally quite loudly in the cinema. HAHA. And she just burst out laughng. hahah.
Major fail.
The movie was great :) great in the sense that I wouldn't mind watching it again in cinemas and buying the DVD, kinda great! And Andrew Garfield reminds me of my all time celebrity crush, Hayden Christensen! <3 Am I the only one who thinks so?! Okay Hayden looks a lil older here, but in Attack of the Clones, when Hayden was much younger, both of them look alike. C'mon, even his mannerisms are quite similar! *dreamy sigh* How can these two be so damn gorgeous? *grins* HAHAHA. They're taking turns to grace my iPhone and desktop wallpaper ;)
30 June- Towned again with Bryan, Jeremy, Aloysius & Brendan. seriously, it's like we're never bored of town. But we are. We were there initially for some Youth Festival thingy at Ngee Ann City but we ended up at the Food Festival in NAC's basement! HAHAHA.
Brendan brought us to the top of Ngee Ann City, where we had to sneakily squeeze our way through air con vents and left a brick at the door so that it won't just shut suddenly and leave us stranded up there. Pretty dangerous actually so we didn't really stay there for long.
Headed to church at night for Youth Out Loud. A night where our church's youths showcased their musical talents. Mhmm. It was a night filled with dares, laughter, modelling, singing and dancing. Cheryl and I had a crazy screaming moment when we tried to help the band on stage to name all the Disney Princesses. Won't expect them to know the official princesses but please, Princess Fiona isn't Disney! >:( Eww.
Some of us headed to Upper Thomson for a simple supper- ice cream :)
Thought my night was done but I ended up going to Ryan A's place around 1ish with a bottle of rum and Josh was there as well. Both of them were drinking since 9pm, can you believe it. hahaha. And I love, love, loveeee Ryan's cat, Petra. OMG. That cute little creature practically entertained me for more than an hour. I think it kinda entertained Josh as well. Josh kinda fell asleep on my lap for a while before he ended up on the floor. Much cooler on the floor, wasn't it. Petra was stepping all over his face when he was on my lap. HAHAHA. Too cute already.
Anyway, I caved, and drank some from Josh's and fell asleep on the floor too. Ryan was on the other side of the living room, sleeping too. I don't remember what time I fell asleep, but I got up slightly before 6, woke Ryan up so that he could open the door for me and went upstairs. How convenient!
Dragged myself for Youth Mass in the morning :O I don't ever get up for morning mass. If I remember correctly, the last time I attended morning mass was in January when Brendan was gonna fly back to Perth later that day. Idk, evening masses are way more peaceful, I feel.
Gen finally gave me my bottle of Cointreau! (Y) Thanks Gen! The biscuits were extremely delicious; my mummy compared it to macaroons. Haha!
Lunched with the gang at Jian Dao Jian. And Apy saw my bottle, gave me a kinda disapproving look and started with his, "How come I don't see you at Adoration? This Thursday, I think it'd be good for you." and I gave him a patronising, "okay okay, I'll try." and disappeared from his sight!
We decided to go for beer in town at night. It's like we don't ever get bored with each other, I think we have attachment issues. Haha. After drinks, we had a scary macs feast at Forum. Of all nights to have a macs feast :( I wasn't hungry but I ate anyway and had my one dollar coke. haha. Never thought Bryan would approve of it. hahaha.
Anyway, Jeremy's plan to 'hardcore hang' with Bryan everyday has been extremely successful so far. Been meeting him almost everyday eversince he returned 2 weeks ago :)
Last week of holidays, and I'll try to make the best of it :) but then againnn, I'm kinda looking forward to school.
