What'd I tell you? I didn't blog yesterday like I said I would the day before yesterday. *grins*
Anyway, it has been more than a week since "ah por" passed away. She's the nicest old lady around here. :( I remembered telling Doo as I walked towards my block last Tuesday that i hoped the wake wasn't ah por's- wanted to ask my grandma if she knows whose wake it is (she's usually the most updated about Block 134's news) but I completely forgot until the following night when mummy said it was ah por's. I'm not entirely upset, but I'm honestly, strangely gonna miss her, her usual greeting, "sek bao mey?" and her speaking a few lines in Cantonese. I can't even reply anyone in MY OWN dialet, much less hers. hehe. I just keep going, "ahh" and "mhmm" and if all else fails, I JUST SMILE throughout the elevator ride. My grandma wouldn't let me go to ah por's wake cause of some chinese beliefs. tsk. So I guess I'll offer ah por a prayer tonight.
Ilene Woods passed on as well. (Cinderella's voice) I don't know why I feel the need to blog about this. But I suppose you'll understand, since it's coming from a truer than true crazy Disney fan. and in my own Disney memory of Ilene, my bedsheet is currently the three older Princesses- Snow White, Aurora & Cinderella. ...maybe I should send a fan mail to Mary Costa before she decides to erm, y'know... be reunited with her fellow princesses of her era.
Went to the Pixar Exhibit during term break with Doo, Joanne & Nic. I LOVE IT.
Unfortunately, we couldn't take photos in there :( oh well.
I'd like to own the Toy Story Zoetrope. It's a device that creates an illusion of action from a rapid succession of static pictures. Yahoo it. haha.
