Continue being the most awesome parents ever- like going out to Mustafa at 3AM, drinking at Country Jamboree, 'punishing' me by dragging me for breakfast because I came home late the night before (whuuut?), asking us to go for macs breakfast at 4AM, for being crazy night owls like Dwayne & I. Daddy threw a Chinese dinner at Spring Court for the families and their group of close friends. We had a private room with three tables and a TV! National Day is always never dull 'cause there's always a double celebration. Cheers to mummy and daddy for making it this far :)

4 August- Jason's 21st birthday party! His actual birthday is on the 3rd though. haha. Anyway, I almost died waiting for Edmund & Hui Min to pick me up at White Sands. They took like an hour! haha Jason's chalet at TreeHouse Villa was too inaccessible for me.
Ed, Hui Min & Nicolas didn't stay for v long cause they had another birthday to go to, although I wanted them to stay at Jason's super badly. But I had Keith, Celine and her boyfriend for company in the end. Jason was pratically gone at like 9PM?! And he didn't even drink with us yet! haha but Celine made some of us drink tequila shots and I don't remember how much I drank. Not much though! Was supposed to leave with them but Ed said they were coming back so I stayed and waited for them til they came back! haha kinda had a HTHT moment with them in the bedroom upstairs but Ed fell asleep and Hui Min & I started cooking maggi downstairs.
Happy Birthday anyway, my dear friend. I didn't expect us to be this close at all when we were in ELDC but I'm so glad something changed and that now, we crap like nobody's business and how you always listen to my rants and call me retarded after that. But hey, we're bros right. I'll call you names anytime. But stop ganging up with Edmund to bully me! Don't like that! One of the best things you ever did, was to force me into watching HIMYM. haha. Glad you had a great 21st.

15 August- Assumption Mass with Jess darling! :) Accompanied her for dinner and we HTHTed so much about guys. haha. Why ah, Jess? We practically have the same problem :( but if none of them work out, we'll have each other and after all, we're just a bridge away. haha.
And last night just made me realise something, we keep getting stares and weird, 'hello's from strangers who walk past us. It gets pretty creepy with those middle-aged men. Ugh. JESSSSS. hahaha must be you. but I still love hanging out with you!

The last time I was this excited for a movie was in 2010, when Toy Story 3 came out. (Didn't watch Tangled, remember?) I know I'll sound bias but wtf, how is Brave not better than a panda fighting and a green ogre roaming the forest?! I don't see the magic of both their stories and their slapstick humour. And seriously, you name your praying mantis, Mantis? Your tigress, Tigress? How creative. Har har.
Omg, I realise I sound terribly bias when I'm talking about Disney but I seriously can't help it. They have Grammy Award winning songs (Thank god for Alan Menken), they bother to freaking animate every single strand of HAIR (Recall Rapunzel & Merida?), create their own colours (like the colour of Ariel's tail), actually hold auditions to get the right voices for their characters (instead of just picking Angelina Jolie, Will Smith 'cause they're A-listers. DisneyCharacterVoices FTW), freaking study the movements of lions & deers (yes, Lion King & Bambi), they tell you stories about cultures, traditions and family values (Mulan, Pocahontas, Lilo & Stitch, tyvm.) and they always tug your heartstrings and most importantly, they are MEMORABLE. Snow White's been around on pencil cases, towels, cups, bedsheets, dolls etc for 75 years already. Where do you stand now, Dreamworks? Oh and if it weren't for one of your founder's resignation in Walt Disney Co., you probably didn't stand a chance at becoming what you are today.
I better stop. Or else someone will track me down and kill me for being this bias against Dreamworks. I don't even know why myself, it's not as if I've never watch Dreamworks' animation but each time I did, I fell asleep (KFP2 & Despicable Me). Hey, I tried. *shrugs* I don't mean to offend anyone about this but yeah, I honestly find it hard to be objective when it comes to Disney vs Dreamworks :)
