A Fox-Out Affair
It still feels surreal to me after one week. We finally had our Fox-Out photoshoot, customers’ edition last week after Fox-Out selected me to model their new collection! To be honest, I entered the contest which they collaborated with L’Oreal, without any hopes of winning. Modelling has never crossed my mind, s'why I was initially skeptical about it but Fox-Out dropped me a reminder to participate so I decided to give it a shot and well, needless to say, I’m damn glad I did :)
I don't usually shop at blogshops but Fox-Out had one of the most unique clothes I've ever seen. Unlike other blogshops, where one apparel can be found in like, three other different blogs! The prizes were extremely impressive and you can see why if you continue reading on :) A whole range of L'Oreal's Mythic Oil hair products, a photoshoot and two free apparels! A girl can never have enough clothes, I'm tellin' ya.
Anyways, there were 4 other lovely girls, together with me who were there for the shoot. Samantha, Louisa, Beverly and Jean! We met a month ago for the first time along with Charles and Sarah who're the owners of Fox-Out and we're here again!
So I arrived at the studio and wow, the props were pretty cool. There were tons of balloons, colourful stools and even a POPCORN machine!
So I was just sitting around, waiting for my turn for hair and make-up when I spotted our gifts! Yes, the whole range of L’Oreal’s newest hair products- Mythic Oil! :D plus our personalized namecards and Fox-Out’s red hot paper bag!
It wasn’t long before it was my turn for hair and make-up! Carrie, the make-up artist was wonderful and reeeaallyyyy sweet. She was also responsible for some of the shoots later on :) Loved the make-up. L’oreal Mythic Oil hairspray was also used on my hair after the curling was done. And boy, does it smell really good. What was even better about it, was that my curls managed to stay throughout the night without losing its luster.
The clothes and costume jewelries were so p-p-prettyyyy. I’ve a penchant for costume jewelries; I like them so much that I just had to instagram it. You’re just spoilt for choice, really. But thankfully, Andrea was there to make accessorizing easier and she took the liberty to experiment different bangles and necklaces with us.
And here’s Charles happily scooping up popcorn for us. What did I tell you, they really had a popcorn machine!
The lovely Beverly & I!
That’s me and Samantha hanging around with our popcorn!
Here we have Charles acting goofy.
The gorgeous Andrea and I! She's really pretty huh! :)
Once Andrea was done with her shoots, it was our turn! :D I’ve never done modeling before so to be honest, it was a lil’ intimidating at the start but with Sarah’s and the girls’ encouragement and Andrea’s guidance, it made it easier and I definitely had more fun with my second outfit. That’s me in the Aztec Sweetheart Skater Dress!
We had to model two outfits each and I’m pretty sure all of us had fun with the clothes.
So after the individual shoots were done, the group shoots for the lookbook were crazy! Crazily fun, I swear! My lookbook shoot had yellow, pink and white balloons to match my Ombre Cocktail Crochet Top in Peach. I loved the balloons and the furry cream coloured rug. I know it's weird, but I really love balloons. And being surrounded by them just reminds me of when I was 5 :) ...At some point of the shoot, we ended up throwing popcorn at each other and blew sequins at the camera.
That's Jean with her solo shoot and Andrea and Louisa looking fantastic for the lookbook segment!
Beverly and Louisa looked simply classy and sultry in their black dresses.
This was us before we threw popcorn at each other! It was awesome that we were allowed to add our own opinions into the photos and basically, to just have fun.
Our finale shot had shiny colourful confetti and the final shot look like that. Even the dustpan made it to the photo! Hahaha. It’s amazing how five girls who met for the second time can end up having this much fun as if we’ve been friends for a long time.
With this, I’d like to thank Fox-Out, Charles & Sarah for giving me this once in a lifetime opportunity to model for them, it’s such an honour and L’Oreal Professional for the wonderful set of Mythic Oil products. They smell really good! Not to mention, my hair experienced less tangles after a couple of washes. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH. Lastly, DO NOT FORGET TO CHECK OUT
