A post that was meant to be published in January
Like I said previously, this was my unpublished post from last month. Can't remember why I didn't end up posting this but oh wells.

I think this is one of the rare times when I'm blogging in the day, 12:16PM, to be exact. Haha that's cause I've no school today! :D So anyways, I've been busy and a little lazy to blog so this post is probably gonna be long. haha.

If I remembered correctly, we had steamboat today! I spent my afternoon watching movies at Josh's place and we had dinner with his sis and her boyfriend in town :)
Headed to Di En's place to chill after dinner, luckily we went force fed with more satays but we had kinder joy instead! which was fine by me! hahaha and look at them and the toys. Baby cooked noodles for Di En and BG before we started watching some movie. I can't remember what was it but it starred Chow Yun Fatt. hahaha. yups. Pretty chill night.

It was the first time Ally experienced my driving today. hahaha. I picked Ally up from home after work and we drove to Upper Thomson for supper. Yeah, it was great spending cuzzy time together :) Had mengs and after which, I needed something sweet so we walked over to the prata stall for Milo Godzilla! Damn shiok, I tell you. I never knew there was such a thing until I saw Tan Kheng Hua on TV @ Josh's place a few days ago learning how to make it. omggg. HEE :D
So anyways, I've been really busy with work last week and, it was by far the craziest week I had since working in MBS. Jersey Boys' curtain call was just last Sunday and you know how people are like, rushing at the last minute to catch the show when it's in its final week. So basically, it was full house every night and the theatres even had time to hold Grandmaster's movie premiere on one of the nights. Yup.
A few of us ushers' goal of the week was to meet the cast of Jersey Boys. hahaha. It's the first time I worked for a resident show throughout its run here. And I know it's kinda weird, but somehow after working for it like, two, three days every week, you tend to feel a lil 'attached' to the show? Does this make sense? hahaha. It comes to a point where ushers start singing the songs before the show, along the theatre hallways, in the toilet and we can even remember their dialogue!
Honestly, I didn't like Jersey Boys when I first watched it; I didn't even know Franki Valli was a real person! But yup, the more I watched it, the more it grew on me. And so last Tuesday night, Melissa, Faraha & I made a spontaneous decision to wait at the backstage door.
Melissa!
Kenneth Meyer (aka Bob Gaudio)
He's effing tall.
Emmanuel Castis (aka Nick Massi)
the funniest of the lot.
Daniel Buys! (aka Tommy DeVito)
He's the hearthrob of the show. haha.
Grant Almirall (aka FRANKI VALLI)
The main star of the show!
Mel & her fave Jersey Boy. haha.
Tired but happy :)
Tuesday was supposed to be the last day I work for the show but I decided to pick up one last shift for JB last Friday and I'm glad I did :) A pity it didn't run til 17 Feb as it was supposed to but it was a musical to remember.
Ces soirées-là.
